Evaluation of programs and services

THE BRIEF

ZEST was engaged to complete a comprehensive review of Camp Quality’s programs and services to inform the development of the organisation’s next three year Strategic Plan.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

This evaluation used a mixed-methods approach and included:

• Literature review and environmental scan of unmet needs of children and families affected by cancer;
• Design and distribution of an online survey to families registered with Camp Quality Services to determine gaps, and their perception, experience and value of programs, returning 384 responses;
• Consultations through interviews with over 25 key stakeholder service providers in the sectors.

OUTCOMES

Findings and recommendations were developed for Camp Quality following a review of the findings from both the survey and consultations. A summary report of the key findings was also developed for different stakeholder groups.
